So I did a thing......

Today I sold the Shadow and bought myself a 2006 Honda vtx 1300c. I've lurked on their forums for a while and learned what I may be getting myself into.

I've learned a ton from you guys and wanted to thank everyone for helping me when I needed it. I truly appreciate you guys passing on your knowledge.

Well, here's a pic of the new scoot.

Sounds like a familiar story. Have you been to VTXOA?

Nice X

I never enjoyed either of the VTX forums. Never posted much, when I did the criticism of how everything I did was wrong, or how I could do it better.
There is a lot of us here with a lot of VTX experience, so ask here if you have questions also.
That's a great looking bike!

Yeah I've noticed a lot here seem to own both lol

I dunno....the Cafe seems pretty cool. I haven't seen too much drama over there. They seem to be pretty chill group. Maybe things have changed?

Plus I use Tapatalk a lot for the forums. VTXOA sucks on Tapatalk and mobile. The Cafe interface is real nice.

Thanks! I fell in love with the vtx real fast

Nice Bike!

Yeah, Man. That's a sweet ride. That's pretty much what I was looking for when I found my 1100 for so dang cheap, I had to compromise. It'll be interesting to hear how it rides and what not.

I love the way it rides. For a big bike it handles like a dream! A hell of a lot easier to handle than I would have thought for being so heavy. Did a U-turn pretty easily yesterday being 2 up.

The stock seat sucks! I'll be getting a new one ASAP. That's the biggest complaint I have with the bike.
