Mostly happy with my tires.

Come home and my new skins are on the porch, unwrap them to check the sizes, cool right sizes, check date codes, front 0119 AWESOME! Check the rear 3917 argh, well the rule of thumb is change your tires if they're six years old regardless of how much tread is left, with how much I ride it'll be worn out in four years if not sooner.

Those are shinko tour master 230 tires! I know that tread pattern. I use them on all my bikes! Shoot an email to shinko and they might send you a new tire. They took care of an issue I had very promptly!

Like Sky120 said they're Shinko tour master 230 and I ordered from Bikebandit for $138.00 and free shipping, arrived in two days.

Eh, I'm not really worried that the rear is already two years old, I'm hard on stuff my shoes only last on average six months and I'll definitely have it wore out in less than four years.

And if you're riding, your shoes will last longer too!

The 230's were on my shortlist when I was looking at tires (the 777 and Perilli RT66 were the other players).

1994 VT1100C
Starfire 185/65/15 rear tire (Darkside)
Perilli MT66 Route 110/90/19 front tire
Progressive 430HD Rear Shocks
Mustang Seat
National Cycle Windscreen

Two years sitting in a warehouse without exposure to direct sunlight....shouldn't be an issue at all.

When all think alike......no one thinks very much.

I put the Shinko Tour Master on my rear wheel about a year and half ago. Like the tread pattern, deep treads, pliable rubber and reasonably priced. I'm happy...

From what I've read based on reviews the Tour Master 230's use a softer rubber compound. They won't last as long as other tires but they have very good grip because of the softer compound.
