I just agreed with State Farm that we`ll settle this insurance claim today for the numbers given, No dickering involved...

They say "high" mileage caused it to be considered total loss...
SO I bought it back from State Farm @$302.10 salvage price and I will receive a check for myb incurred loss also...

I keep my Baby...

There is a Bright side to it,

I would sure that your state allows salvage titles. Illinois does not allow them.

[email protected] Carr My baby is HOME!
I`ll fix her better`n she was before...
I gotta mind to BUY a fairing insteadda building one Like I did before, but Yeah I couldn`t turn down the chance to get it for $310.00 and the title is still GOOD TPOO!
Insurance didn`t "Salvage" it the meerly "cosmetic damage" it...
Which means NO SALVAGE Title on it

I think the best therapy is Handlebars in my hands, Yeah I rode her into HER parking spot under the polebarn,

That's great news brother!
Yes, if you can swing a built fairing, don't build one! Save that energy on all the other stuff. There are some cheap, cool looking fairings to be had. By time you get all that you need, you can probably find a new one, Mutazu I think sells a cool looking one for cheap!
When you get ready, we all will Google and help look!!!

Yup, an aftermarket fairing can be had on ebay for just over $100. Just make your own mounting brackets and add a windshield and you're good to go! Piece a cake for a man of your abilities, Dennis!

Yeah, But the Healing has to happen before I do ANYTHING to my Baby...
Y`all remember Ann? She says "NOTHING! You can do NOTHING!"
I was really happy she let me unload it
I hadto convince her I was going easy AND I Knwe I COULD Handle it...
I`m serious about them handlebars being good therapy...
Both Mentally & Physically Helpful
It`s GOOD to have my Baby Home,
D
Even IF alls I can do is Look at her

Yep, NOTHING!
In due time! Stare at the bike, think it through and make your plan of attack!

I'm glad you got it home and it is helping you feel better. I wish your healing was quicker but sadly it takes time. We'll all be glad when your feeling good enough to be riding again.
