Anybody have a great ride planned for this weekend?

I didn't plan anything. I very seldom hit the highways on holidays. Least ways the first day and last day.
This is when I wish gas prices were over 5 bux a gallon. It might not keep the VW's off the road, but the Humve's would certainly be in the garage.
California CHP has warned the state that they would be out in force this weekend.
Have a safe holiday, and bring us back a Kodak moment.

I am headed a couple of hours north and I am looking forward to it. Back on Monday.

I will try to get some pictures taken.

Nothing specific planned. Might take the bike out on Saturday to Riverhead to see if I can make it out there from Queens.

I am the ghost rider. I'm nothing more than a faint image out of the corner of your eye, and just as easily dismissed. I am the lone wolf, a shape in the dark on the hill. I am the faint howl you hear in the wind.

took a 3 hour ride north from CHicago to South Haven, MI.

Pulled in just as the sun was dropping over Lake Michigan. Couldn't see the sunset, mind you, but I did ride next to the lake on and off for the last hour of the ride...

Of course, I had to park the bike at the neighbors (because my in-laws who own the summer house hate the bike) but hey, great ride.

My first ride as an RC for our riding club is scheduled for the 3rd week in Sept. so I need to make a dry run.

Should be interesting, we're going to the Starship Pegasus.

I know it's a long weekend. But the Bay Bride is closed for the whole thing. So I hope to do some quiet riding down the coast. Going to enjoy the sunshine.

Started my weekend early. Did 200+ on the Valk today.
Might go to the Plant City Bike Night Saturday {111 miles one way} with the Rocket {me} and Valk {wife} and back. Nice ride through the heart of Florida.
Possibly hit one coast or the other on Monday.
Sometimes if you plan too much it takes some of the fun away!

The "Pig Stand" at Destination Daytona. Had lunch there today.

Taking my daughter out for a short ride to Valley Forge Park, maybe French Creek Park. (Phoenixville, PA area).

Weather is supposed to be crap (its T&L right now), but a few of us are looking forward to a day ride on Sunday. I might finally remember to take my camera along.
