Question 11" or 11.5" Shocks On An 09 Aero??

Can someone tell me what size shocks the Aero has? I am looking at getting some Progressive 412's, but am not sure in I need to order the 11" or the 11.5" shocks. I am 6', 208 lbs. Thanks.

I just put 11.5" 412 on my Sabre, the stock length is 12" (progressive does not make 12"). I think the shocks are the same on the aero.

I'm debating the same thing for my ACE - stock on mine are 12.5 and I'm thinking about 11 or 11.5….but I'm only 5'3 according to the doc, but really 5'4…think they messed up!

I'll probably go 11.5 for 1" shorter, minimize any travel issues, and with saddlebags avoid them hitting the pipes.

11.5" will help keep your wheel from contacting your rear fender when compressed more than the 11". However, the clearance between your exhaust and saddlebags will not change when you swap your shocks. Your bags and exhaust are fixed to the sprung portion (frame) of your bike rather than the unsprung (swingarm). I remember thinking the same thing about my saddlebags before installing my shocks and realizing that the will not be affected

If I go with the 11.5", will that cause the back end of the bike to not sit level? I am 6' 208lbs.

I should also add that when using the little application wizard on the website it does list both the 11" and 11.5" 412's. It does have a note stating that the 11.5" shocks are a bit longer than the stock length which would indicate that my stock size is 11".

I'm confused.
