So how was @Gnarly incorrect?

You are asking for someone with wiring expertise to weed out what you don't need, who also has a program for editing copyrighted diagram material from a published manual, so you can have a shortcut to fix your likely-vandalized bike?

Step 1: Take the bike to someone who knows what they are doing, or ask them to come to you.

Step 2: Exchange money, goods and/or services.

Step 3: Ride your fixed motorcycle.

It's really that simple.

Start here mainly because you need at least some knowledge of what you are attempting to do.
As for the simplified wiring diagrams, if you would learn how to read the diagrams you can leave out what YOU don't want to fix, repair, etc.

h13man, I'm not privy to any of the goings on around here but my theory is that the spam/porn/ad filters are getting weak. I believe what would help would be if Spiritman would burn some incense and bury a possum at the base of an old oak tree while chanting. This would of course have to done during a full moon and I have no idea what Spiritman would chant, but I guess he would have to work in something about carbs, tires, lights, and for the finish OIL!
But that's just what I think

and I'm not really good at it, but motorcycleguy, I can read a motorcycle wiring diagram.

Don't you get it? He's asking for a color-coded hotwire-a-Honda diagram. Can't find someone local who teaches that AND won't go to the cops when his bike turns up missing.

@adlowe
I just came into this and read it all the way through, you are dead on! The 1st time he got snotty about location I knew he was looking for a steal-o-gram! Confirmed when he mentioned he "could start it without the key before"... now I know what you want...

ALSO who steals plug wires and disconnects wires under the seat? what a lot of work for $.88 in scrap? A-likely-story.

@jwinker
HAHAHA "exchange money for goods and services", Dad is that you?

@h13man
Hey! I'm new, so is @Cerberus , and @smurfy71 and I think were ok. Honest contributing members anyhow. Sometimes I'm a tiddly bit sarcastic but who doesn't love that?

@old dad
What exactly is a "SUPER moderator"? why doesn't the omnipotent @Spiritman have such a title?

EDIT: @KCochran
I don't blame the filters, I've seen no spam/porn(darn)/or ad's the three post thing is really just a can you fog a mirror test.
Polite or not he appears capable of that, no amount of filtering in the world would have prevented that, I've seen invite only forums turn into accidental jerk parades. It's just the inter-webz. lol

Sometimes it seems like I'm arguing, that's just how I work out a solution:.. The other times I'm arguing.
