geographical clarification (Arizona?)

Finally, this part of the forum clears it up for me, Nevada is in the southwest and Arizona isn't

But if anyone from Arizona accidentally stumbles in here, let me know if you want to set up a ride

Now I know I'm going to get lost. And I'm not sure it is a bad thing.

After living in Arizona since 1978, I think I can say that AZ is located in the Southwest region of the USA and is considered to be the "Southwest" and not the Southern Plains. California is considered Pacific Coast region and NOT the Southwest. You really can't get any more "Southwest" than Arizona, just look up Southwest art or homes or décor and you will find most of it is from Arizona.
Just trying to help clarify some of the geographical details of this post.
Thanks!

This has been worrying me for a long time. I've been unable to sleep, can't eat, or drink. I'm so glad it's been resolved. The earth will now return to its normal rotation and the sun will come up in the east again.

Life doesn't care if you're unprepared.

I guess. after travelling over half the world. that my geography wasn't as good as I thought it was and I been badly in error for 60 years thinking that Arizona was part of the Southwest. I'll need to let my brother that he no longer lives in the Southwest. I don't think he'll agree with me. Can I get a note?
