Riding suggestions near Wakefield, NH ?

The wife and I are getting away towards the end of August on Balch Pond & I'm considering bringing my bike to do some riding while up there. Any recommended roads or trips that are favorites with the locals in the area? Thanks

Route 16 will take you up north to the mountains or down south to the sea..

This is a nice place to visit

New Hampshire Farm Museum

Further north you have Jackson NH with its Honeymoon covered bridge and waterfall

even further the Mount Washington Auto Road..or you could continue on 302 and take a nice scenic rid, then return via Bear Notch road, then 112 ( Kanc) and back onto 16.. lots to do and see, just stay away from the bbq joint in Conway..trust me on this.. oh and you might want to check out
Pink Cadillac Diner, Rochester NH, An Awesome 50's Experience

I don't know where Wakefield NH is? I'm 10 minutes from the NH. state line and 20 minutes from Keen NH.
