Solo overnight Cartersville GA Trip Saturday

Thinking we might possibly meet each other and Ride a while along the way...
I`ll be headed out to Riding Academy Skilled Rider Course in Cartersville Saturday as early as I can get outta Dodge...

What with conserving space & weight, I strapped the (new to me) overnite bag to the ACE for a "tester outter" trip to town later today to see how it fits...
BUT, we Got hogs to clean first though...

Rural GA Highways US27 - GA5 US41/411
Warm Springs, Whitesburg, Douglasville to Cartersville is the route I`ve chosen as I have never ridden this area...

Posting this & Looking for a spot for Saturday night, Got my "jungle hammock" and need a couple trees to tie it to...
Hopefully someone can provide a tree or two close to Southern Devil HD for my 8 o`clock class appointment...

Between AA, ABATE of GA and HSN, I might not hafta "hunt a spot to sleep in the wild"
Thanks in advance,
D

My ACE & I logged over 500 miles on the speedometer/odometer...
7.5 miles of which was in the parking lot doing slow speed maneuver exercises in REALLY HOT weather...
I saw it reached 105 as the High on the handlebars thermometer...
Meet ups happened with good friends & relationships made...
I had Followed several rainshowers missing them but had to ride on wet roads...
Got within 35 miles of home before I got caught in rain the rest of the way...

Y`all missed out,
Dennis

I once lived a few miles from Warm Springs. There are lots of "twisties" is that area with very little room for error: barely any shoulders with huge drop-offs down the embankments.

Glad to hear you're mended from your little wreck a bit back!

If it jams, force it. If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

NAAH!
@ShadowGeezer I went to Catersville last year for my FREE Riding lesson...
AND it helped in my accident this year, I swerved, braked and did the right things, BUT that deer went in the same direction I did...

Healing at home, with a STRICT nursemaid telling DON`T!

I didn`t see any reaction from the riders...
WOW!
I sure wish this one was like the other 3 deer I`d hit > just a minor scrub...

BUT, It`s in Gods hands now,
D

When I saw this thread pop up I went What The Heck!
I thought the black cat on my desk had been messing with the space time continuum again, this time for the better.

Well I guess things are still as they were, at least you are moving in a positive direction with the recovery.
Good thoughts and prayers.

Thanks @CSRoad These prayers being lifted in my name are what`s healing me...
Along with time, of course...

Each day is an improvement... Although these pains keep changing from spot to spot...
I reckon that`s a sign that my insides are healing...
I heard that "if it`s itching, it`s healing" I`m itching in these spots too...

Ann is constantly reminding me, "NOTHING!You`re to do nothing!"
She scared me with the reminder, "Those blood clots will move to your heart, NOTHING! you hear me?"

And on the lighter side >>
We got the accident report from state patrol yesterday...
I`m the lucky one > They shot the deer...

I ain`t got shot,
D
