Comfort or noise? I would choose comfort 1st. Go for the seat.

Let your butt cheeks be your guide. When I got my mustang I had a sore butt, but my ears were just fine. I guess you just scratch whatever itch you have. Funny thing, after over a year on the mustang my ears are still fine.

You guys should log 13,000+ miles on a Rebel, then you'll REALLY know what an uncomfortable seat it...

I'll be the odd ball, go for the V&H pipes.

I put a bit over 50,000 miles on my stock seat, then got a mustang wide tourer, much happier riding. I'd vote comfort over sound or looks.

As soon as you become accustom to anything, some moron has to change it.

Ah... but did you put 13,000 on a Rebel? That seat is a instrument of torture! Honda should be brought before ICC in The Hague for creating such a device.

I know everyone's posterior is different but, I consider the VLX seat to be a Lazyboy after enduring the Rebel's seat.
