New Member Milage

Hello all,

I am a new member to this board, but have been riding my Spirit 750 for a few years now. Great bike. Alas, I am now trying to sell it and having very little luck. It has almost 40,000 miles on it. Whats your opinion as to whether that is too many miles for a shadow?

Thanks, Andrew

If it has been well taken care of, it has many many good miles left in her.

Check your title. It'll tell you what year it is.

Got 160,000+ (im too lazy to look) on my 01 spirit 1100. Several on this forum have seen it in person and can attest that if its taken care of 40k is nothing. Id take mine to cali and back tomorrow if i had the time. Only reason i bought the Harley, was we were ready for a bigger frame and more storage on trips as the wife now likes to go with me on the longer ones.

40k is almost broken in!

Thats pretty much what I was figuring too. Since, to my knowledge, it has been well maintained (I've had it for three years). I know i have been maintaining. Thats why its annoying that i haven't been getting any bites! To answer the previous questions, Its got Cobra Pipes, ostrich leather seat, and a custom made (not by me) luggage rack.

With any reasonable care 40K is nothing. There's guys here do that in a year.

What are you asking for it ? Pics ? I got enough bike's at the moment, but price and pics might help us see what the problem is. How long you been trying to sell it ?

Take a look at cycletrader.com might give you an idea of market worth.
