Floor boards?

Was thinking about getting some floor boards on my bike. Can anyone tell me if they are worth it, are they really all that much more comfortable then the pegs?

I originally was dead set against the Cobra ones that came on my Sabre, but they are really growing on me. I still don't like the style over pegs, but they are much more comfy.

Maybe just personal preference, I don't care for them. I like pegs. But you can't knock it til you try it.

When I first got my Shadow I was unsure about the floorboards. I hadnít ridden with a bike that had them before. I liked them. Many different ways to position your feet and on a long ride that helps.

If you like to drag the pegs, then stick with pegs. Floorboards will drag sooner, and may be less forgiving.

I love my floorboards but, as mentioned, it comes down to personal preference.

Would be one of the first things I'd pull off if I had a bike that came with them. I personally dont like anything about them. I am a motorcycle minimalist, I dont like fairings, bags, floorboards, sissy bars or anything else the bike doesnt need to run. Hell, I dont even have a speedo. lol. To each their own though

Talking

I saw a bike that had a lockable floorboard which held a pistol inside...
was thinking that's a good place to keep a Glock
Dunno if I'd put anything more expensive in there...lol

Ride paranoid. Don't let anything distract you.
Keep the paint side up, wear the lid & leathers.

I test rode a vstar a couple years ago that had floor boards and it seemed more comfortable, although I didn't go all that far (few miles).
That said I still won't put them on my bike. Like the look of pegs and have a tendency to scrape pegs too.
