Hi I’m Chris (male) I’m from the Uk 🇬🇧 I’ve got hold of an 1986 Shadow Vt500c American import as a rolling project last November. So far I’ve replaced breaks tyres radiator indicators fork seals and just waiting on my seat to come back from the trimmers. Cleaned up as best as possible the aluminium. So if anyone has any tips or ideas I’d love to hear from you.

Cleaned up pretty nice. I have an 84 500 and it was mess when I got it. Glad to see some love for the baby Shadow, the bigger displacements seem to be more popular but being that Im 5'8 and 155 lbs the 500 fits me like a glove

Thank you for your kind words. Yeah I’m going to give it some tlc.I’m thinking of putting the exhausts back to standard as some one put it two into one , probably because the collector box rotted out but getting one at a reasonable price is hard. Ive found one but it’s half the price I paid for the bike😧

Hey Chris, you need to start 3 threads in the intro section before you are granted full access to the forum. This is a post, the collection of posts under your first, is a thread.
