Black and gold
I bought this bike in 2009ish in non running condition. Rebuild carbs (thanks Randakk's). Got it Running. Rebuild the forks, changed timing belts, changed all fluids, new filters, new tires (bridgestone BT45's(really nice tires)), painted a few parts, replaced headlight with CB750 unit. Replaced seat with a Triumph speed triple seat (modded to fit) added Renthal ultra low street bars and removed front fender (I regret that when it rains) and installed CBR900RR brake master cylinder. Installed a hydraulic clutch from an 84' Aspencade with master cylinder from a CBR1000XX, best mod I've ever done.
1978 Honda GL1000 (Black and gold)
Bridgestone BT-45 tires 110/90-19 Front and 130/90-17 Rear.
Hydro clutch from 1984 GL1200 Aspencede, master cylinder from CBR1000XX. Front Brake master cylinder from CBR900RR. Jardine exhaust (sounds amazing). Accel Coils copper core wires. Dyna CDi Ignition.
Renthal street Ultra low bars.
Triumph Speed Triple seat (cut to fit).
