History
In '78 I purchased three non running bikes & some other parts to put together the bike I wanted. Sold off the left overs for $1400 above investment. Rode'er for over forty years, two marriages, and more miles than I kept record of. Parted'er out for the money when my wife came up with cancer. We beat the cancer, and when we got our finances squared away again I looked into reprising'er. Old Beemer prices'd gone insane in the interim. Chased down second choice of a modern (to me, anyway) shaft/carb Spirit project for next bike.
R69S mill, '55 loop frame, aftermarket pipes.
750 Honda fork head welded into butterflied Beemer head, 450 Honda trees, stretched tubes, & sliders, 350 Honda spindle & hub, 21" rim & Avon, custom spokes. Beezer risers, buck horn bars, and a headlight bucket from an old fire engine with a mahogany aiming knob.
Six gal. touring tank with a glove box, custom stepped seat, bobbed rear fender, cobbled short chicken bar with oak barred rack, HD foot boards, Flanders side stand. Assorted other bits & pieces.
