History
I bought this used for $2500 on 6/20 in Walla Walla, Wa. After riding it I found some issues. It coughs, skips on cold starts, has some abnormal vibration after full warm up. Front tire was replaced and new front brake pad, Paid about 320 at a small local bike repair shop. Been running high test gas with a few oz of sea foam per tank hoping to smooth out the cold starts. I've been told the carbs may be dirty so I'll be changing out the inline fuel filter next. A local shop told me I'm lookin at 500 bucks per carb to clean, so another 1k to clean and sync, dang. The previous owner told me he purchased it locally in Walla Walla at a local shop and rode it a few years off and on and had been sitting for awhile before I purchased it. I love the two into one pipes, they have a cool low cruiser rumble sound. I didn't research this model and found that it was in production just a couple years. The Spirit kinda replaced it. I won't give up on her. I'm gonna bring it to another shop and get a detailed breakdown on what it needs before I spend another dime. All in all I love Honda Shadows, this is my third
