Purchased for $650 back in July. Was informed that it ran but was hard to start. I don't know why people have to lie! After getting it home and doing several diagnostics I determined that fuel was the problem and proceeded to rebuild the carbs. I've had half a dozen 750's in the past but this was the newest and the carbs were a far cry from the ones I've rebuilt before. But actually they were easier. When I removed the float bowl it showed me the reason for not running by dumping several handfuls of sand onto my work bench. Anyway, once reinstalled, it fired right up once I figured out how the choke worked. Since then I've added saddlebags, crashbar with extra lighting, new seat, an MP3 quad stereo system, gps, put in a new stator, battery and voltage regulator, and finally a clutch. And it still beckons me to replace the fork seals, rebuild the master cylinders, and the front brake calipers. This is almost as expensive as my boat! But it sure makes me feel like a teenager again.
