I'm going to get a set of Progressive 412 shocks for my 06 Spirit 750DC. I think the 11" will give the height I seek. I also plan on adding a cats eye with plate and going with a 170/80 tire. I weigh in at 180# and occasionally my wife will ride with me. 120# soak and wet. My concern is will I tend to bottom out with standard shocks with the two of us. Or will the HD be too stiff for a single rider. I'm not overly concerned about a harsh ride until I get on rough roads (stock shocks IMO rides rough enough now). I would like to set the preload once and forget it for both types of riding. Does any one think the HD set on lightest setting be too harsh for a 180# single rider? I could except the occasional bottoming on the largest bumps. I just don't want to tear things up, break our backs or scare the lady.

Any one have pics of their 750dc spirit with 11.5" shocks?
