Dad got a Roadking then shortly after his poor 79 GL 1000 broke down. So he gave me the bags and I put them on my ACE The top support system fit near perfect on the ACE. Did a LITTLE modification to stabilize the bags a bit more but all in all I think they went on rather well

The lights are wired for running and stop. The whole thing will get painted early next year so not worried about the rugged paint job on them now. It was always my plan to paint the bike blue.

Don't worry about paint. Load that puppy up and hit the road! I like it.
