Im looking for some advice about my 86' vt1100, and Im hoping some yall around here have had one or a few and could point me in the direction in which Im trying to go.

My first and maine question for the time being is about my sub fuel tank. Is it possible to delete easily?.

Welcome to the forum! You can eliminate your reserve tank if you want to, but why would you? Put an adapter in to decrease the outlet on the main tank to 4 or 4.5mm, (whichever, can't remember), plug the vent on the rear of the main tank, and your good to go. Also may want to keep a good set of walking shoes in the saddle bags for when your mileage calculations are off.

Thanks Smilie. My goal is to reduce weight and clean up some things and or relocate them... Im ultimately trying to see what is possible in a sensable manner. Im just in the info gathering phase.
