Thinking about putting some Z bars on my build. Was wondering how much of a rise I can go without changing throttle/brake/clutch cables. Thinking maybe 6-8 inches. Wondering if anyone had any previous experience

i was wondering the same thing. im going with biltwell chumps on my 2007. cables are more expensive than the bars so it is a consideration.

Just a thought. Do you have risers on it now. If so shorter risers (if possible) might help you get a larger rise out of the bars. But I am not sure if you simply want a larger rise all together or just want your bars to have a larger rise...
Just bought a pair for my 1100. I went a little more low pro with a 4 inch rise. the guy I got them from did an amazing job. He made them to my exact specs for 65$ shipped and they look like a machine did them. If you want his info let me know.
