well the saga continues. The bike is up and rideable and it rides very well. However, it has no mirrors nor any mounting points on the handle bars for mirrors. Could someone point me to a place where I can acquire some factory mirror mounting hardware (I don't know the proper name please correct me).

Sounds to me like someone replaced the entire clutch/brake perches/clamps, since that's usually where the mirror mounts are. You might want to look again.

You were correct, It did have a mirror mounting point on the right, however the mounting point on the left was broken. Replaced that whole clamp on piece, have new mirrors in the mail.
