Remove left engine cover, unbolt stater winding assembly, reinstall in reverse order.
But did you look at the 3 yellow wire connector from the stater, that many times overheats and melts connections?

What happens if the 3 yellow connectors melted?

It can cause a short or increased resistance. Either way it prevents the current from getting to the rectifier. It's a common problem. Some people just cut out the melted portion and solder them together. It's 3 phase so the order doesn't matter.

It causes an open circuit in 1 or more of the 3 phases. Just like unplugging it, so no charge.

The strength of the magnet on the stator will make it feel as though it won't come apart, but it will. It's a fairly straightforward job.
