Is there a trick that's escaping me here? I took the seat off, took the tank off, took the coolant tank off, took the battery off. things are pretty stripped down, and yet, it still won't budge.

It has a crack in it and i'm afraid that is the reason my throttle is bogging down so much.

also, is there a trick to getting the carbs on easily, I did this once and literally drew blood.

Pull your rear wheel and inner fender. It will pull out through the back. Installing the carbs just takes patience. Some soapy water on the insulators will make them slide on easier.

+1 on pulling the fender. It's possible to remove it without pulling the fender, supposedly, but I never figured out how.

Yeah, removing and replacing the carbs can be fun.

What? I put carbs in through left side where throttle cables are. Put em in and took em out many times. Make sure ur boots are flexible. If they're hard and old replace them. Grease em up and shove em in. Now if I can only get that dam snorkel in, that's the pain.
