My ignition switch is going out. It keeps slipping out of in while bike is running. I can see that they dont make new ones but I do see that they still make new ones for the honda manga. It looks physically the same minus the connector at the end. I dont want to lose the tree lock when I replace it and dont mind having to cut or solder wires . Does anyone know if the locks are compatible for fitting in the same area on my shadow?

It isnt the lock cylinder but the switch underneath the lock cylinder.
