Hi, I have a problem after winter storage.
Bike cranks but will not start, then after a few cranks fuel spills out of the overflow?
Any ideas, Carb issues etc?...

Drain the fuel from the tank and float bowls and refill with fresh stuff mixed with seafoam or other fuel additive. It sounds like you have a float stuck.

Thanks Smilie, also looked online and this seems to be a common issue.
Had the bike since new in 95 and only done 1600 miles!
Spends a lot of time sitting in my breakfast room!! Problem could be old fuel gumming up the carb as suggested.
Will let you know if fix works. Should I also squirt some carb cleaner in the air intake?
Thanks

I wouldn't bother with the carb cleaner. After the mixed fuel has had a chance to sit in the carbs overnight, drain the float bowls again before trying to start it.

1600 miles in 24 years is a lot of storage time and my guess is your carb is totally gummed. How long has that fuel been in the carb?
