Can anyone please tell me how I can adjust the mixture screw on the right hand carb (front cylinder) as the air filter box is is completely in the way, I presume the air filter has to be fitted to get the mixture correct. Thanks

You can do a pretty good mixture adjust without the air filter, but of course it will change a little with it in place.
Set it a little on the leaner side for both carbs and if it changes to slightly richer with the filter, that is good.
Trey to get the smoothest fastest idle, then adjust the speed down to where you want it.
