I've been looking through posts about adjusting shocks on Shadows, but none of it seems to make sense when I get next to my bike. There doesn't seem to be anything that I can see that will allow me to adjust the shocks since the whole thing is covered in a metal sheet.
I'm over 300 pounds and the last guy who owned the bike couldn't have been too much over half of my weight, and the bike bottoms out easily. I've been reading up on traction and watching videos about the finer points of the physics involved when motorcycle makes a turn and I'd like to get everything adjusted as best I can for my weight.
Are the stock shocks from that year not adjustable and require replacing, or is there an obvious step that I'm missing?
