...So I'm looking at 10 year old Shadows. How concerned need I be that the fuel tank has rusted over the years and damaged the carbs and engine? I'm pretty meticulous about making sure the tank is full before storing my current bike for the Winter. Can you see inside a Shadow tank with a flashlight? Further, If a bike is currently running well, can one presume that there most likely isn't an issue?
