Anybody know if a passenger backrest from an ACE 750 will fit the Aero 750 mounts? The pic I see looks curved and the mounts are in a straight line on my Aero.

edit: Also, when measuring the height of the bar, does it measure from the mounting point? I'm guessing yes b/c I see 11" high bars for sale that look like the one currently on my bike.

Probably not. As I recall the ACE uses a 10-5/8 width because the metal fender is wider. Aeros are around 8.5 to 9 inches wide. Also, ACE backs mount to a curved rail, Aero is straight railed. I could be wrong but my guess is "No".

I just sent one back to Amazon. Combination sissybar/backrest/luggage rack. Wont fit 2006 Aero 750 altho they claim it will. Still searching.
