Think I will start making plans for a trip North. I have about 2 weeks worth of guilt free ride coupons.
I here tell of a B&B in Kalamouth Falls? Might check that out. Might just need to see my sister in Idaho Falls
ifn I be feeling like doing a Falls theme. Lets see, there's Twin Falls. I don't know how many other city's
are named after Falls (on the west coast). Fall River Mills.
Maybe I will just put the Falls theme on my bucket list and just stick
to the Family re-union in Oregon.
About the pup tent,, Just insurance in case all the B&B's are full :)

B&B's can be lot of fun, the wife and I try to go to one each year. You can meet some really interesting people, and if you look for the older ones (we always try to find Victorian ones). Generally they tend to be quieter, and we've sampled some great local foods and learned some local info as well.

Phillips Bed/Breakfast in K'Falls is a special one, only those invited can stay there. And only one at a time (two if they are really friendly ;);)).

It is definitely better than a Pup Tent. Bed is a lot softer.

You won't find "Kalamouth Falls" on the map (Klamath Falls will work) :p:p

Well dang it, I still haven't got the new rotors yet. I have already canceled my trip to Oregon. Still thinking about dropping in on you though.
I have both bikes torn down. I took the engine guard off the Shadow and gave it to my granddaughter.
I am installing the forward controls I bought for the Shadow 3 years ago. I have misplaced the brake extension rod and nuts and bolts. So the Shadow sits waiting for those parts to magically appear.
Plus I want to modify the exhaust. My son is supposed to get me stainless steel pipes and then I need to buy fish tail slide ons.
The dual pipes will curve up behind the shock and extend above the fender.
Hopefully it will turn out like this, except there will be 2.

ASR your bikes are getting back at your for working instead of riding the last several months.:shock::shock:

The tail pipes will look pretty good. Are you going to "bob" the rear fender also?? Like the picture.

I have seen bolts and stuff magically appear when lost, but doesn't happen very often. Good luck in finding them.

I put new shock bushing on the Valk last week and new hwy pegs. Took off the "Floor Board" Hwy pegs that were on her when I got her. Looks better. AND seems to handle the curves a bit better with the new bushings. Only thing now she needs a bath, got attacked by the Midges.

IF, I can pickup a extra set of tins I will bob both fenders and paint the bike CHP black and white complete with a star saying,
"California Highway Patron" (gonna have to research how close I can immitate that)

Ya that work thing is a hard habit to kick. (for me anyways)
I usually don't find stuff that I know I have until after I give up and
go buy another one. Then, it appears like magic.

Way cheaper to just throw a sheet over the bike.;-)
I use a pancho for my Goldwing.
