84 shadow 700. So the main 30 amp fuse blows every time I hit the start button. However, if I disconnect the wires to the rectifier it will start and not blow. Furthermore, after starting and running I can hook the wires back to the testifies and it will continue to run. But If it shuts off and you try to restart, blown fuse again. I replaced the rectifier thinking it was it. Didn’t change anything. What gives?

In looking at how it ties in the only thing I can think of is to check your grounds, also the three yellow wire connector.

Make sure the big starter cable is on the M terminal and no other wire is connected there.
And the Battery positive is on the B terminal.
Some aftermarket solenoids are marked backward.
