I know this subject has been covered before, but I was wondering if anyone had looked into Vega boots. In both NJ or FLA there is not a dealer with a plentiful supply of them. Traveled about 50 miles to find one pair that was not my size. Wondering if anyone has the Women's Vega Nitro (Street boots with laces and velcro closure) or the Vega Touring Boot ( All black with dual zippers) Found some great prices on Ebay, but not sure which to go with. The companies that are offering them have not returned emails about the height of the boot, comparison of their two. Just wondering of anyone else's experience with them. They look comfortable. Thanks, Crystal

Most boots are in the height range of 8-9 inches high. My wife finds them a problem while riding her bike...to much air up the pant-leg and not enough shin protection from road debris....plus getting the small size.

There was a "thread" a few weeks ago about women's boots(size) and where to get some. There were sites/costs mentioned on that thread.

I had the Nitro Touring boot. They are "suppose" to be waterproof. I found out the hard way that they are definitely not. Also I don't think they have stiff enough toe box. I took them back and got the Tourmaster WP Solution. MUCH better boot.
