Most boots are in the height range of 8-9 inches high. My wife finds them a problem while riding her bike...to much air up the pant-leg and not enough shin protection from road debris....plus getting the small size.
There was a "thread" a few weeks ago about women's boots(size) and where to get some. There were sites/costs mentioned on that thread.
