My brake signal does not brighten when the rear brake is applied. It does work when the front brake is applied. Any one have had or heard of this problem and know the solution?

Besides the obvious..use both brakes when slowing down...;-)

It's an easy fix, most likely.
Check the switch on your rear brake lever. It will be easy to spot.

Test the brake pedals, barrel switch. Probably just need to be adjusted, but might need to be replaced or spring re attached.
