My brother went to visit his inlaws in Columbia, and picked up a new bike. Its an AKT 150 made in China, and assembled in Columbia. About $1500 American dollars new. It's not as fast as his FJR1200 here in the states, but it's wheels. He keeps it in a house he owns in the mountains to get around on. Looks like a pretty cool little bike.

Yup, it sounds like a pretty cool little bike all right.

I'm sure he's enjoying it...and that's what really matters.

Reminds me of a Honda Nighthawk. Personally I'd rather have the Nighthawk.

For sure, but you'd have to give up your home over there to own one, or anything from Japan. Even if you pay 11k for a car it would be Chinese , it's crazy.
