On my 2001 Honda Shadow Spirit VT750DC, which is definitely not a California bike, I took the carbs out to fix a couple of things. I have two small air hoses coming off the back that join into a longer hose that wraps around the right side diaphragm cover then clamps along side the fuel line and apparently goes nowhere and doesn't appear to plug into anything.
Am I right on that?
On the service manual, this air tube can be seen on page 5-17 on the bottom right and the first two pictures on page 5-18.
