Just getting started on my latest project (2000 VT1100T), and I'm already running into issues. One of the air screws had gotten stuck in the right carb, and the PO had tried to drill it out. He ruined the carb body, so I bought a used pair off ebay. I'm disassembling the new ones, and both air screws are stuck. I've soaked them in WD-40 overnight, but they still wont budge. I'm thinking about applying a little heat, but that seems drastic. Is there anything else I should try first? Thanks.

Spray some PB Blaster on them and let them soak. You might also try heating the outside of the carb body where the A/F screw threads are. Use propane so you don't overheat. The expansion and contraction of the threads will help to free them up. Heat up and cool them a couple times before you attempt to turn them. You'll probably toast the rubber O-rings, but easily replaceable.
