This Shadow is on craigslist listed as a Special Edition Chrome Shadow 1983.

Has anyone heard of this bike before ??

Back some years ago, one national magazine would "chrome" a bike. Not sure but I think it was Motorcyclist. They would take their Bike of the Year and dip it into the chrome vat and then get nasty mail from the readership for months! :twisted: :twisted: :shock: :lol: :lol:

I saw a chrome 1100 Shadow once, it was a newer one though... (late 90's and up)

yup - I've only ever seen the 83-85's in the chrome edition. I probably see about one a year or so, but I'm not really looking for them either.

sounds wrong ......but they look CHEAP to me......

I hope no one on here has one because I am not intending on insulting someone. This is just my personal opinion.
