Rode in to work this morning. It was 22 degrees. Just spent a week at Mickey's World down in Florida. Sure was nice to be back on the bike. I also enjoy being one of only a few bikes out there in the winter.
. BjornNelson: you mentioned the pinlock not doing it's job? Mine works perfectly! I will get condensation all the way around the pinlock, but its clear in the center where it needs to be.
Coolerman, what helmet / pinlock visor are you using? Been curious about these for a while now.
MEMPHIS: I let my bike sit for a bit and can't crank her up but I do. Like last year.
I recently bought handlebar mits and they working OK. Last year wore gloves and I was cold. I learned to up on a baklava along with my full face for neck coverage.
I'm investing in a faring that I will have to customize.
I have researched that there are covers that can be placed over crashbars to block wind for the legs. I would like to get something plastic and aerodynamic.
It was 19 when I got to work this morning. Bundled up, nice and toasty, in my bear suit. Only the fingers were chilled. Here's a pic of me leaving work yesterday with my BEAR suit on. (Not my BARE suit)
