These barns are along the way to work, in Newborn, GA.
I really don't know the exact purpose for this old barn, but I think it was a livestock barn. The lower level was open with dirt floor, and had a smaller enclosed room in part of it with large open corner. The upper level had a floor and the large open windows along the side.

This small barn was more modern, but with a very cool paint job! Also had some old plow parts for more decoration. I met and talked with the lady who painted it, very nice lady.

There's something about utilitarian buildings

Those are some nice looking buildings. Next time I ride out towards Choctaw I'll get some pics of the sharecropper buildings. They're really sweet to look at and old as **** itself. They used them as "slave quarters" in "Interview With A Vampire".
