So, while in the process of doing prep work on my rims and fork tubes for painting, I discovered that the fork brace-stabilizer is cracked around one of the bolts. I haven't noticed any difference in handling recently, but I'd like to know if my bike is safe to ride until I find a replacement? I checked Ebay, and of course there aren't any 86 VT500 braces available.
