A local dealer put on a little seminar for our riding club about winter storing our bikes. One thing he said we should absolutely do (for non EFI bikes) is drain the float bowls of the carbs by opening the drain screw?

Can anyone post a picture or point me to one showing which screw(s) I'm suppose to turn to drain the carbs?

Thanks
Dan

Thanks for the link to the picture and the reminder to turn off the petcock first. You get spoiled with EFI.

Would turning the fuel petcock off and running until it quits empty the fuel in the carburetor? Will doing this let the gaskets dry out? Would the use of fuel stabilizer or Seafoam be a better choice? Maybe I have to few answers and ask to many questions?

Run the bike after adding stabilizer. Once it's all run through turn off fuel and drain carbs. Or run dry, your choice.
