Hey guys, having trouble finding a replacement chain for my 95 vlx. bike bandit, cheapcycleparts, etc don't have the OEM. I'm new to chains, first time having to replace one. People are talking up DID, I know I need a 525 x 120 (I think??) Found this one on amazon for a killer price, just want to make sure it's what i need before ordering. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheap chains are made for dirt bikes where grit chews them up in short order so they are frequently changed and should be cheap.

'O ring' is what you need to run. X-Ring is said to last longer (doing my 1st X now, time will tell) but pricier. Some people run with clips (versus rivited) but if you do this be sure to carry an extra clip and master link in case it flies apart on the road.

Go to Motorcycle Superstore and search on "chain" for a wide selection.

OK-o ring is what it comes with original. Found a DID 525 x 120 o ring for $119 and a DID 525 x 120 X ring for $124. X ring sounds like it should last longer, so it's getting ordered unless someone talks me out of it!
