I have a 06 vt750dc. I am changing out the stator and lost the washer that goes with the clip on the top of the drive sprocket cover. Does anyone know what size this washer is so I can run to the hardware store and look for one?

It is #5 in the picture

2006 Honda VT750DCB A/A WATER PUMP | Ron Ayers

Here, it says:
#17
WASHER (9.5MM)
90504-MAH-000

So that is about 3/8" (9.5mm = 0.374")
The outside diameter (OD) could be smaller than an SAE washer and should be about the same as the rubber cushion in the assembly.
Most hardware stores have assortments where you can find that washer, I'm sure.

The rubber, in my cover at least, seems like it's stuck in the cover pretty well...could be a lot of grim build up though because the lower part (#12) that the clymer manual says can be lost came off with the cover.

Thanks for the reply guys! I was looking on partzilla and it never occured to me to look under water pump section.

Appreciate it!
Thanks for reading my post...

That's why I like Ron Ayers over Partzilla, Ron shows little schematics of the parts, not just words for every section.
That part number in post #3 is a link to the washer at Ron Ayers.
