I have a '93 VT 1100C with what I think is a Corbin seat. I'm trying to find a backrest that can be mounted to the grab rails so I dont have to buy a new (= expensive) seat.

Anybody know where, or if, I can find one.

Custom World makes one. I got one for my Spirit 750, which bolts to the fender rails, and it is fully adjustable, too. Works great! Got mine from CruiserCustomizing.com. I've attached the one for the VT1100 (Custom World International Drivers Backrest Plain - Honda), though that seems kinda pricey to me.

Thanks fellas. It looks like Protac may be a viable option but Custom World @ $300+? No bueno even though it does look nice.

Does the Protac come with the pad?

Remove your seat and check the label on the seat pan. It should tell you the manufacturer and model #. I used the Protec site link as an experiment and entered the needed info for my 96 Shadow VT1100C with the stock Honda seat and cost was $135 directly from them. Sometimes it's better to order direct from the mfger.
