I know this has been discussed a bunch, and I have done a significant amount of research on the matter but have not come across a universal consensus. So here's my question;

I am wanting to upgrade my exhaust (leaning towards the Cobra Streetrod Slashdowns). Beyond replacing the crush gaskets, is it further necessary to install a fuel management system for re-mapping purposes? If so, which one would you recommend. I am wanting to upgrade the air intake eventually on down the road, so I know it will be necessary at some point, but can I get by without it for now?

Any other thoughts on exhaust and fuel management/intake modification's welcome!
