Well i want a new exhaust and i have it narrowed down to either the Cobra Streetrod or the Hard Krome American classic straights. Does anyone know if either of these exhaust systems are louder than the other or have any experience good or bad with either? I really like the look of both systems but don't want a really loud exhaust. Oh yeah i have a 2001 spirit 750.

If I were to guess, I think the Hard Krome American classic straights are louder. I don't believe they have any baffles in them. Where as the Cobra Streetrod's do. I have the Cobra Streetrod Slashcuts and love them. They have a nice rumble without being really loud and they look nice too.

I think you'll find that Hard Krome Pipes will be louder than most other manufacturers pipes. They do have baffles in them. Some models the baffles can be changed others are welded in. My brother has the K-2's on his Aero 750. They sound terrific.

I believe you will hear a higher pitch in the Cobra, Not much, not bad, but I think the HK will be deeper if that's what your after.
