Since we're heading into winter, it's time to plan for a total bike go-over. This is where I take a good look at everything on the bike, especially the things I didn't look at when I bought it on Saturday.

I had a plan to look at it closely, but when I saw all that chrome and heard that load "potato potato p p p potato" ...well, I was sold. Some of you folks can probably relate.

So, it's little things like a sticky directional button, boot burn on the pipe, adjust the valves (22k miles), and clean/lube the chain, etc...

In the mean time, I will vicarious live through all your rides and photos...
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Don't forget to snug up those bolts, clamps on the carbs and exhaust and inspect the fuel lines. The list is endless with a used bike purchase. ;)
