Crashed her once and broke off the handle bar end cap and bent the brake handle bar. Trying to fix them. Cant screw in the end cap plug cause it looks like the old one broke off inside the handle bar.

Any ideas?

Bend the handle back. being aluminum might not bend back perfectly. Just Glue the cap on.

Alright, that's what I was thinking of doing to. Thanks. My dad said he had some kind of a tool that could get the broken metal out of the handlebar so I"ll let him take a look at it to.

That is not broken metal in the bar. Is an anti vibration weight and is welded into the bar.

What year an model of shadow do you have?

My 84 VT700c the chrome end caps snapped into the rubber holes on the end of the hand grips, as 93gc40 said the metal thing in the end of your handle bar is an anti-vibration weight they do come out but are sometimes rusted in.
